WHAT IS
EVERYONE
SAYING?

Maddie has created a easy-to-understand framework for teaching CCM styles which works WITH the client's skill and stamina development. it's one of those things that seems like such a natural progression that it made me wonder why I didn't intuitively teach mix and belt this way all along. I immediately put the framework into practice and I can already see the difference it makes. My clients are able to hone in on the small skills they need to develop before they level up to the bigger skills.
MARLISE AHUNA - Owner of Marlise Ahuna Music - Hawaii, US
Maddie Tarbox is God's gift to contemporary voice teachers today. She has broken down complicated scientific concepts into simple and easily understandable and immediately applicable lessons. I learned more from her summer course than I did from my entire undergrad and graduate studies about teaching. Truly, the most useful vocal pedagogy course I have taken. I’m coming away with a better understanding of how the vocal instrument works and how to approach teaching along with many very practical exercises that I was able to start applying immediately. Highly recommend her courses to any teacher wanting to improve their teaching.
RACHEL RYAN NICHOLES - Professor of Voice (UVU), Private Studio Owner - SLC, UT

I've been looking to add more diversification to my own preferences as a singer and bring that broadened horizon into my teaching in order to continue to embrace my students and singers I hear with more empathy and possibility. I trust my ear and my ability to connect and communicate with others, but have never truly found comfort with the more science and anatomically-based pedagogical approaches and am curiously and enthusiastically working towards that improving that side of my teaching and actually enjoying it. I am very grateful to you Maddie for making the science palatable and fun, and thank you for the warmth you bring to a field that can be steeped with negative attitudes and misplaced trauma (hah!).
DEVIN ILAW - Professor of Voice - NYU Tisch - Independent Studio Owner and Performer, NYC
I have done so many voice teacher continuing ed courses, and this was the first one that addressed the hole's and gaps I was experiencing both in my education and teacher training. I am always nervous to take courses as I struggle with perfectionism and the idea of not getting 100% can be fairly paralyzing, but I tried to remind myself that I am here to LEARN and GROW, and Maddie created such a safe space for that. The lecture on flexibility in MMB was what dreams are made of, as I had been searching for this EXACT information to post on my teaching wall to keep reminding me and help guide me on exercises and what vowels work in each specific range. Take this course! You won't regret it.
